Child support is complete BS?

Where I live, my ex-boyfriend will be paying, wait for it..... $20 dollars a month for child support. He makes around $800 a month, and it's all disposable income because he lives with his mom and dad and is going to university, which of course mommy and daddy are paying for. Of course, the child support will go up about $200 when he's done university and starts working, but that won't be for another at least 4 years. I make just under $1500 a month, and have about $300 left when I'm done paying bills/rent. He thinks it completely hilarious that he only has to pay $20, which isn't even worth getting, and won't buy anything but an outfit. It takes 2 to make a baby, and the price should be split 2 ways not 1. How is this fair?
