How do I get my husband posted in the military?

I am currently residing in Cold Lake Alberta Canada. If you have ever lived here I am sorry because this is an awful town. I have lived here for the past 2 years and know I will be here for at least one more year. This is my husbands first posting so I have a feeling we will be here a lot longer then I would like. When we got our posting message I actually went to the church and talked to a padre telling him that I didn't want to leave my family and my husband choose this life not me but unfortunately the military didn't care and we were forced to come here anyways. How can I get my husband posted out of Cold Lake and back home to Trenton which is even a bigger air force base then it is here? I have an appointment with a physiologist tomorrow and am hoping I can say all the right things in order for her to write me a letter requesting we get posted. Will this work?
