Wedding dress has a few blemishes, big deal?

I got a dress that was originally $1,050 for $432 and that's with $100 of alterations and a skirt. I felt like the dress was totally made for and it was gorgeous it just has a couple snags and a quarter sized piece of fabric right under my arm that looks a little damaged. But I already have a Saree for the wedding and t his american wedding dress is for the reception. I'm also having it spot cleaned because it was on clearance and got tried on a lot. Anyone else wear a dress with a few blemishes? My mom said that by the end of the night my dress will get a little damaged anyway. Big deal or not?
