Does he have immigration hold?

My fiancee is in craft in trenton,nj central reception & assignment facility he has been there for 3 weeks already he was suppose to be sent to prison home wich is jones farm prison already according to him but immigration is checking his immigration status wich he hears could last 3 months or more craft is really strict and he is not allowed to get visits were he is at. Well a woman called my number from ISP wich is a a parole type program but not exactly parole she said that he is approved for it and could come out in 8 weeks or so but how do I know if immigration has a hold on him and if he can still come out on that program I called an Ice immigration officer that went to go see him and the Ice officer told him that his charge was comming out not under section E turns out that they fixed it he ended up getting his judgement of conviction papers and it was fixed he is a legal resident with a green card he has been here for 15 years and his charge is2c:21-25(e)3rd degree why did he tell me he has to see a immigration judge ? If his charge is not deportable according to this ICE officer be picked up after his sentence ?
