Is this unfair? And was this immature in his part? What do you think about this family dynamic?

I am in this same EXACT situation... it is very frustrating for my siblings and I, too. I've learned to ignore it.. what bothers me the most is that my brother is 14 and not getting the affection he needs from my mom. It's not fair. Even though we are older, we still deserve our mothers attention..
