Spanking vs privilege revoktion?

My mom does both. I am eight years old and I sometimes get a spanking and sometimes I get stuff taken away sometimes both. Last week my mom took my barbies away because I didn't clean them up and so that made me mad and she just cleaned the kitchen table so I put my barefeet on the table and said how does the table look now. She looked at me, grabbed me up and spanked me and said try that again and you won't leave the house until your 18. So I will never do that again.
