Why didn't Jesus help my mommy?

Death is sometimes hard to understand. I lost my mom when I was just 7 years old. It's NOT easy. If your mother died from some sickness or disease, we need to realize that for her, the pain is over. She is pain free. In that way, Jesus did help your mommy. But we tend to be a little selfish and want him to do it here and now so we can keep our loved one close. The best way you can look at it is to try to be what would make her proud...and live for God. God certainly understands death, because of the awful death of his only son. But good came of it...and I am thankful. Now I can go to be with those who died already....because of His love and forgiveness.
